This metal brass ring ligature gives you optimum performance in an incredibly simple and elegant design. This stylish ligature easily slips over the mouthpiece to firmly hold your reed — no screw tightening needed! Its concave inner cavity only grips the reed at four small touch points, allowing it to vibrate at its fullest potential. The metal ring also adds extra mass to the front end of your saxophone, enabling you to produce a full-bodied sound with lush harmonics and far-reaching projection. It is a unique heavy mass ligature that uses a minimal contact point design to allow the reed to vibrate as freely as possible. Self-locking CNC machined taper touches on three points only; the left and right side of the reed, and on top of the mouthpiece. There are no moving or added parts, further increasing the efficiency of vibration. This allows the most freedom and vibration of the reed, which in turn also increases the amount of harmonics present in the sound. Allowing for a full tone rich with high, mid and low frequencies.

INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF VIBRATION.

The best saxophone ligatures allow the reed the most freedom to vibrate. The more vibration there is from the reed, the more harmonics will be present in the saxophone sound, but increasing the efficiency of the reed’s vibration will also make the mouthpiece feel easier to blow and provide more power.
